Okay, I admit that this question is more of a photography question
than an Olympus specific question, but here goes. I have mostly
been a 50mm lens user, with moments of mild telephoto. I intend
to change that. Some of the shots I will take on my next vacation
will be statues close to the camera with picturesque buildings in the
nearground or background. Using a wide angle lens (I will have a
35mm f2.0, but I think the question is generic), I need to make sure
that both the statue and the buildings are in focus. Would someone
care to have pity on an amateur and write a few words on proper
focus procedure? To get maximum depth of field, I'd probably use
smaller apertures.
