Well, I for one, still use half-frame from time to time. I'm a big fan of the 
Yashica Samurai. I think of it as a modern-day P&S half-frame. Getting harder 
to find someone to develop half-frame now, though. The big Fuji lab near here 
still does it, but it takes a couple of days.
