Concern Mac, I will
consider it is for professional use only (when you computer is
dedicated for one purpose). PC is more flexible and have much more
software/hardware at a cheaper price and even lots of freeware
available.
Just my two cents

PC more flexible??? OK, it's my turn to start an OT flamewar now ;-)
Seriously, the Mac is surrounded by so many strange prejudgments.
It's a nice and pretty fast (nowadays) computer. An iMac is not very
expendable (only memory) but is the perfect small office/home machine
that runs Photoshop, video editing and Music composing programs. It's
perfectly quiet (no fan), not spacious and rather good looking. The
monstermachines G4 is of course a lot more expendable and a lot
faster running dedicated programs (again Photoshop). There are
THOUSANDS of quality programs and games for the Mac, and internet is
bulging with free- and shareware. If you want to use more than those
thousands of programs, you will need a PC. On my old (1997) Mac I use
Word, Explorer, Eudora and Photoshop, Quark, Protools + some other.
All newest versions without problems. Quite enough for me...
