$$$$ for equipment and $4.95 for 4 rolls film from
Walmart (which I use a lot). I find it scans much much
better than 200 speed, has fine grain and sharpness.

Dynamic range is more important than Dmax. Dmax might
be more important when trying to pound light through
dense slides, such as Velvia.
I tried to download the 57MB file through the network
at work (WAN) but it indicated 30 minutes so I gave
up.
