Same here, sold my winder when I bought my first MD1, even though I shoot it
primnarily in single mode. found a second MD1 with M18v control grip for $120 at
Brooklyn camera (saw JUST the 18v control grip go for that much on eBay
recently!) so
I snapped that one up. I have a M81v for the orginal drive as well. I also have
one
Ni-MH pack that I bought from Camtech. It all makes for a nice system. I like
the
Ni-MH for it's compactness and light weight. For fast action, sports, ect I
prefer the
18v control grips.
