Yes! MD1 is also my favorite, even you may not need 5fps but the
feeling of smooth and fast you can never get with a winder. I sold all
my winders after got the MD1. I use the MD1 in single mode, but even
for portrait I have tried to press the shutter twice in less than a
second, I have more confidence with the MD1 then the winder. The MD1
with Ni-MH does not weight much more than a winder 2. I also have a
MD2 but it is just too heavy for me.
