Actually the reason Iwanted the 1.4x was so I would not have to carry the 300
AND yet another lens. It was not really a cost issue for me. (At this point I
can't really afford the 1.4x OR the Sigma!) A good tip though for folks looking
for a super tele. How is the color balance of the Sigma compared to the Zuikos?
One thiong I have noticed about the Zuikos is that the color balance in general
is very consistant across the line< which is not always the case for after
market lenses.
