The Kiron 1.5X works best with a 100 or 135 mm lens. It will vignette
slightly with a 200 and basically unusable with the 300/4.5. The 1.5X was
formulated for the Kiron 75-150 zoom so one could expect that it would work
best in this range. I sold one of these to a list member (but I of course
tested it before I sold it but did not view the tests) and it (the Kiron)
work excellently with the 100/2.8 (150)mm)and 100/2 (150mm) and I could not
distinguish the results from the 135/2.8 and 135/3.5. So, of course, I bought
another one on eBay for more than I sold mine.
