You can get closed cell sleeping pads at most camping/backpacking/outdoor
stores,
there will be more than enough to do the job. Lots of times hardware/variety
stores
with camping sections have these pads for well under $10.00.
After doing a ton of research on bags I am seriously considering buying some
Domke
inserts or making inserts myself and using them in a cycling messenger bag.
