If I remember the major difference between the 3Ti and the 4Ti is that the 3Ti
will work if the batteries fail, but the meter wont. Also the 3Ti can use the
F-280 flash that syncs at all shutter speeds, just like the 4Ti.
On the 4Ti, it can be used if the batteries fail, but only on "B" and 60th of a
second. On the 3Ti all shutter speeds will work, which is a huge benefit if
your a Pro or in a situation were you can't get batteries. Remember an image is
always better than no image. On a Canon EOS 1n, if you lose your battery, your
done and no image is no picture.
One major difference is in the price, the 3Ti, is more money...
