OK, you forced me to go and get my collection out.
Mine fall into 3 of your 4 categories (no Made In Japan, Black Nose, MC, S/N on
mount). I have two 50mm f1.8 that have sticky diaphragms and they both fall
into
the "OLYMPUS OM-SYSTEM ZUIKO AUTO-S 1:1.8 f=50mm Japan, Black Nose,
MC, S/N on mount" category. I wonder if there was a change in
materials/manufacture that make them more prone to this problem ?
