Mike,
On one of my few professional assignments some years ago, Delta Airlines
managed to break a number of the locking levers on my Bogen 'pod. I called
Bogen in New Jersey (? not sure) and they sent me replacements. Also try
the better equiped, real camera stores. Here, Arlington Camera stocks Bogen
parts. I don't put tripods in checked bags anymore. Baby gear hasn't been
a problem for me, personally.
