Thought the Samyang was an 18-28... at any rate I have one, and it is a
wonderful little lens. Don't run into too many of them on the street,

It may be, Jim. When the same lens is sold under various labels it's common
practice for resellers to vary a bit on designation of the focal length and
maximum aperture. Some want to fudge a bit for marketing purposes, others
want to keep the specs as accurate as possible. Remember some of those
f/1.5, 1.7 and 2.5 lenses?
