Disagree. Because the lens-to-subject distance is large with the 135/4.5,
any flash that can be tilted downwards, like the T32 or Metz 40MZ-2 (3) will
work fine. I use the shoe-mounted Metz all the time with my 135 on 65-116
tube. When the zoom head is set to 85mm I can stop down to F22@100ASA.
