Hi,
I used a 300 mm in Kenya some years ago and got very nice photos. I my view
it is a very good lens that also gives good results with the 1.4 X
converter, even at full bore.
Tamron's 300/2.8 is of course faster, but I think the tests results I have
seen on that lens were a bit disappointing, so if you don't desperately
need the extra speed, I think the Zuiko is as good as or better than the
Tamron.
But of course, if you win in a lottery, buy the 350/2.8 ;-)
