F280 has 7 pins rather than the T-series 5 pins in the connector.
I also imagine that Skip, Hans, Frank and others are correct about F280 not
working with other flash units. When I responded, I was out of town and did
not have access to the F280.

Does the F280 shoe have a similar pin layout to a T flash? I've never seen
one. I'd think that since a plain TTL cord won't fit the 280 socket, that
it was probably made not to work properly in plain TTL mode with other T
flashes in the loop.
