I'd say "It depends". I can go for rolls and rolls (I shoot 36's
exclusively) and not get a "keeper" when doing family snaps and general fun
stuff. When getting serious, I can do half a roll of keepers on occasion.
Overall, I'd guesstimate I'm in the 2-3% range where a shot is worthy of
enlargement and display, close to Warren's 1 of 36 estimate. Of those,
maybe 10% are portfolio or publishable material.
