It's a retro thing. ;-)
At the moment I'm having fun with Tri-X since it's taking me back to my
youth. Something about watching that purple juice go down the drain and an
emulsion thick enough to wear for a belt.
If you don't print above 5X7, the grain isn't objectionable within spitting
range. Sometimes the grain is just what you want. It's like a drive in the
'74 BMW 2002 with four gears and power nothing. Or shooting an OM-1. Lots
of things better but sometimes you want the thing for what it is and not
its rank order.
