They did, I believe...the F280.
The gotcha is that you'd have to have constant light output for the 10-15
millisecond travel time of the curtains. To do that with a strobe requires
firing it lots of times in quick succession, which in turn requires
heavy-duty power and nontrivial control. It could be done, but us real
people might not be able to afford it...
