I have both 100/2 and 35-105/3.5-4.5, I retrieve my old test shot for both
lenses. I found the zoom at 105/4.5 is very close or may be better than the
100 at f2 but at f4 I found the 100/2 is better.
There are some other factors that make me paid more for the 100/2, the
distortion of the zoom at 105 is 1.37%, too high for me. Also the F4.5
aperture is too small, I like to use the 100 at f2.8 for portrait.
