That´s easy, line pairs are contrast dependent. As long If the didn´t
declare at what contrast value (realistic or promotion?) they measured
it´s not worth the paper they print on.
For example:
Technical Pan has an resolution between 125 l/mm and 320 l/mm between
1.6:1 and 1000:1
And if MP uses foolishly real film, the will measure only the whole chain
of processing, with all his uncontrolable influences (film types,
chemicals, temperature, light, etc...).
