Interesting indeed (especialy for the fish eyes), Sigma in Germany
claimed, that they stoped production of manual focus mounts.
But I found an test of the 14mm Sigma in an german magazin (foMag 1/91):
It showed an extrem lose of contrast towards the corner of the image
(should be normal with all super wide angle because of vignetting),
stoping down from 3,5 to 8 helped not much.
Sharpnes was not spectacular, but no big falloff to the corner
Flare, low.
Vignetting, heavy (the 18mm Zuiko has a vignetting of 2,6 stops wide
open, you could imagine how bad the vignetting of a 14mm lens is: 3 or 4
stops?) There is no posibility to correct this with a center grad
filter, because it has no front thread.
Distorsion, very low , barrel type.
A fullframe fisheye migth be an alternative: no vignetting but gigantic
distorsion.
How good are the Sigma fisheyes (there new price is not higher than the
used price for Zuiko 16mm lense)?
