I just saw a SQF type lens test on this in an early 1990's Popular
Photography. It wasn't a very spectacular test, but darn if I DIDN'T copy it.
I personally concluded it wasn't something I'd want if I saw one for sale.
But, my needs are different and it might be worth a look at the review before
you buy.
I know a dealer in town with a 17mm f/4.0 Rokkor (9+) on a Minolta X-700 (9) -
asking $159. I suspect this will go fast, but if you or anyone wants me to
take a look for them, just e-mail me.
