Good news,
an MC lens is not necessary marked MC!
Olympus started to mark the SC lenses in this pattern:
F.ZUIKO AUTO-T
With introducing MC they marked:
ZUIKO MC AUTO-T
In the eigthies, when MC has become a standart feature, they marked MC
lenses:
ZUIKO AUTO-T
My book Olympus OM-System says, that the remaining chromatic aberations,
of this lens (300mm Zuiko), are less than 10% and therefore close to
apochromatic corection. True definitly for SC and MC versions.
