I've amassed quite a collection of bags over the years, and they all work,
depending on the sort of equipment you have to lug, and whether one will
be working not far from a vehicle, or hiking, etc. Bags are a very, very
personal thing. One of my favorites for light travel is a Polaroid case
for the Spectra "kit", in which I inserted a leftover divider from a
Tamrac. I routinely carry 24-35-50-100-200 (or other combos), plus T-32,
cable connector, cable release, pola/fld/grad density/81B filters, 12 AA
batteries, one OM body w/winder and 12 rolls of film.
One has to sort the bag thing out via trial & terror, or a very
friendly camera store. The latter is far cheaper! I find that the "big"
bags are easier to configure, the small ones are far more critical to
satisfactorily set up for one's equipment. I tend to buy Tamrac, Tenba
& Lowe-Pro, in that order.
