|I´ve heard the advice, to use diaper bag, so often, that I doubt that
|criminals haven´t heard of it too.
|The most critical situation, for the protection of your gear, is when
|you´re shooting photos. Not only you´re distracted, but it is also
|obvious to the criminal, that you´re carrying photo gear and where
|you´re it storing.
When shooting, either keep the bag attached to your person
in some manner (over the head and shoulder, around waist,
etc.) or stand on the carrying strap. This forces a thief
to become more vicious than he|she may care to.
