Hello Gary Reese:
I also have this lens and I am pleased with it. I have used it
both in the normal direction and the reversed direction with an
OM T-10 ring flash and also with Kodak Infrared Film.
Although it does not have an Infrared Focus Mark my pictures
turn out with correct focus using an opaque IR filter (#87) behind
the lens but in front of the shutter in an OM1n.
I am not absolutely certain but I believe this is a type of
retrofocus lens that Carl Shipman described in his Olympus Books.
