I agree in principle, but I like this crop better than Moose's. Put the
butterfly at one of the 1/3rd points, facing INTO the frame. That also puts it
mostly on the bokeh background, sans distractions:

Tastes vary. I prefer mine (oddly enough). I like the leaves, for context for a flutterby standing on one of them. As it
happens, mine is an intentional, full rule of thirds crop, with intersection just behind eye, on front of body. I don't
slavishly use the Rule, but generally do consider whether it is appropriate.
