<< I see a (slow) Laowa 13 mm eq. MF lens for Fuji GFX and smart adapters for

Wow, I didn't see that coming. I guess it is the 17/4 for the GFX. Plenty of
total photons captured to make up for the one stop slower lens than the Siggie
zoom I used.
I haven't pixel peeped enough yet to see if the star eater issue will be
significant for my modest purposes. I find it an irritant that it can't be
disabled but for astro landscapes is only minimally/modestly noticeable when
specifically looking for it. I'll eventually post some images for closer
inspection and you can decide if they reach close enough for gov't work
status. Oly could use a 7/1.2 but it would be huge and expensive if optimized
for astro. The Oly HHHR shots look quite clean but the reflections are
smeared--some may prefer that.
Marnie took 10 shots to stack so could independently stack the reflections as
the reflections rotate about a different apparent axis--a reflected celestial
pole. Then have to adjust the resolutions one way or another and blend
everything in just right. This may take awhile and at the limits of my pay
grade.
