That experience is exactly why a backup is desired. While the chances
of your new body packing it in on your next vacation is likely slim,
the fact is that you have experienced the agony of not having a
backup. Why take the risk if you don't need to? $250 is probably a
fair price, but at this point, I'm not sure it's really worth the
effort. If the new camera remains the primary and preferred camera,
the second one is only a spare. For a spare, I'd probably pick up a
really inexpensive used E-Pen body that uses the same batteries.
