That is I could get my channellock pliers on the pipe clamp screw. If you need
even more leverage, you probably could still use the pipe clamp in some way,
rather than purchase a special tool.
I also had the same problem with plumbing to the pool filter, getting it loose.
pipe clamp worked for that as well.
