I was wondering just that. Would the pilot have to hire a couple of flag
people to close down the roadway for the length, duration and timing of
the take off ?

In Alaska, it is legal to use roads as runways. Pictured is beautiful
1956 Cessna 182 parked near the Parks Highway. This is right across
the river from Denali.
Unfortunately, my trip up to Denali wasn't too photographically
interesting. It rained and snowed the entire time and visibility was
about a mile. So, no mountain today.
