Yes, the sensor stack is not optimal for film lenses but neither is the 6D. I
can testify that the some WA SLR film lenses on the OMA7RII do suffer a tad--
only can say for near certain about the C/Y 35-70 at the wide end in the
extreme corners but nothing like the degradation and smearing of RF WA lenses.
Suspect the Z 21's, 24's might have a minor issue . Can't tell that much from
web images but the longer FL's seem to perfectly fine--see below-- OMZ. 90/2 on
OMA7RII
At least it is easier to focus!!
