Yes, I have bought from Ukraine on more than one occasion without problems.
As far as I recall it has always been for locally made lenses, but all
turned up quite fast, safe and sound.
And 3D printing is offered by my ISP, strangely. They charge by the gram of

AutoCAD have various pieces of free iPad software to scan objects and
create 3D models.

Chuck .......... thank you for the response. Yes, indeed I had misread the
trailing S for a 5. These film holders are expensive. I have both of the
other carriers seen in the ebay ad; the glass carrier cost an arm and a leg
ten years ago! I am not so sure about sourcing from the Ukraine. I wonder
if there is any on-list experience about sourcing from that country?
I do not know of anyone with a 3-D printer. With no size / measurement
specs on hand how might a 3-D printer produce a replica to within the very
finest of tolerances and be indistinguishable from the original? Very
curious!
