I suggest you double check your part number. After looking on ebay I
have concluded that the correct number is FH-835S... easy enough to
mistake "S" for a "5". There is one on ebay for sale with that number
and a number of complete scanners for sale specifying that number for
the film strip holder. The film holder only sale is stated to be near
new condition, from Ukraine, priced at USD 495 + USD 59.85 for shipping.

Unfortunately, even rechecking Nikon with the correct part number ends
up finding it but still says it's discontinued and no longer available.
It sold for USD 97.50 when it was available
