I don't recall seeing anything directly related to "... sensor heating in long exposures? Long exposure noise cancellation?" I dunno about any specifics about sensor heating but I imagine that the temp will rise as the exposure increases up to a certain point when equilibrium is reached (heat in = heat dissipated). This factor is likely to be very specific to the sensor and the physical construction of the camera. ...Wayne -----Original Message----- From: olympus [mailto:olympus-bounces+wayne.harridge=structuregraphs.com@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ] On Behalf Of Moose Sent: Tuesday, 22 September 2015 6:50 AM To: Olympus Camera Discussion <olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [OM] Digital Noise On 9/21/2015 1:22 PM, Ken Norton wrote: >> Read this, then tell us. :-) >> <http://www.dpreview.com/articles/8189925268/what-s-that-noise-shedding-some -light-on-the-sources-of-noise> >> >> Oh So Quiet Moose > First of all, that is one horribly written article. Oh goody, I was hoping someone else would read it and tell whether it is any good. :-) Did he get around to sensor heating in long exposures? Long exposure noise cancellation?
