As I noted, Moose, I essentially took these straight from the RAW
images, and did not manipulate them. Yes, you have made them much
brighter, and that is nice, but that was not my mood that day. There
were too many memories to go with each of these plants.

Very different than here. Our small irises are long past and the first
big, bearded one just opened a few says ago.
These were basically cropped and resized from the E-1 RAW images. The
camera did the work.

You don't seem to have your new editing software fully under your belt
as yet.

No masking or fancy tricks, lower brightness/exposure a bit, LCE (some
slider called Wonderfulness, Clarity, Oomph, whatever) and a bit of
Curves.
