Thanks for your comments, Chuck. McAfee came bundled with this computer
that I have had for about a year, and seems to do most things ok. This
was a new feature they recently added, and I failed to say "No". I will
watch for those things in the future.

I sent a comment to Firefox, but have heard nothing from them.
I have not seen this with any other software other than Firefox.
I am running Windows 7 on a Dell desktop computer.
