Aside from novelty, what would the point be? The best part of the OM
system is/was the lenses, those are easily usable full-frame on Sony,
Nikon, canon bodies, etc.

One you hack some kludgy aps-c sensor/back monstrosity onto it, any OM
body loses whatever form factor that *might* have made it worth
considering. (small size/ light weight). Not only that but you get the
crappiness of a crop factor result.   Not that any of the OM bodies are
really that special to begin with anyway, even when shooting film.
(aesthetics aside - talking function here.)
