Hi Moose,
I agree with your recommendations. Unfortunately, my personal situation
at present allows me very little time for photos. I stumbled on the
flower, and made the best of what I had. I was using AF, but did try to
get more than one shot. This was the best of the lot.

Yes, I have one, with an earlier clamp end and an extension. If I
really wanted the shot, the Plamp would be connected to a tripod.
But probably I too would have just taken the shot s best I could in
the moment. :-) But I probably would have bracketed the focus.
