I think Olympus is investigating the possibility of opening their own service center. Their desperate move to
Precision Camera repair has been a disaster.
Strictly anecdotal, but like Don, my one experience has been fine. I sent in an E-PL3 that lost date/time whenever the
battery was taken out, even for a second. It came back fairly quickly, working properly.
I'm happy mine went well, sorry if others are having poor experiences.
