I've never had a problem with landscapes even hand held. But I brought
this up originally in the context of interior architectural panos where
there might be lots of stuff up close. It became a problem for me after
I realized I'd misplaced my EOS mount Tamron 20-40 which left me with a
Zuiko 24/2.8 as my widest lens. I'm hoping I left the 20-40 in Florida
somehow as I don't know how else I might have lost it. I won't know
until January of maybe even February when I get back there again.

I don't know if this point has been brought up or not, but the offset

The far greater issue is not the offset, but the lens design itself.
