I used an old version of Acronis for many years on XP but had to find something new when I moved to Win 7 64-bit. But before jumping to a new Acronis I decided to do some due diligence and discovered too many howls of anguish on the web about how the newer versions of Acronis were killing the owners. I decided I didn't need that and especially since there were more highly acclaimed things available at lower cost.
