I used it for back-up cloning when I had both HD and BU WD drives. I did their
back-up occasionally, but never had
occasion to need it. Disk space is so cheap and cloning so easy and simple to
use for recovery that I don't see any
point in backing up a boot disk. Just clone it. If you need a belt and
suspenders, rotate a couple of clone disks.
I found Reflect when I needed to clone a Toshiba HD to a Crucial SSD for my
netbook+. I liked it quite a bit more than
the Acronis.
Now, with a Samsung SSD on my desktop, I can't use the WD Acronis, but I would
use Reflect anyway.
