I grew up shooting at metal targets in the pub with an air rifle so it
was only natural that when I went to university I should join the small
bore rifle club, I found it very relaxing to shoot bits of paper aiming
for perfection ;-) - a sort of yoga. I ended up as club captain and at
one of the university competitions we shot at three different distances,
I shot the first two ok but with all eyes on me I wound the sights the
wrong way for the last - I would have been better relying on kentucky
gravity!
