I have had both, The olympus 7-14 is much heftier but by far the
superior lens, I did a list swap for the panny version (how did I know
olympus would finally bring out a decent digital back for it) which is
tiny but more prone to flare than the Oly, sharpness is comparable.
I still have the Oly 8mm/2.8 but the rear element is not perfect even
after my splitting and getting it reglued.
I don't tend to use the panny much now as I shoot mostly with fuji but
maybe I will play with the digital Oly stuff over the festive season.
