Yes, I understood. I'm much attracted to that model, but it's too heavy/large,
spendy. I want that, with only one
lever/button for all three legs, in 190 series material and form factor. :-)
It was when wooden tripods started turning up ...

Yup. I still carry one on 'plane and in car, but it doesn't all that often go
on the walks/hikes anymore. One reason I'm
thinking about trying the TrekPod again.
