I'm glad it worked for you.  Apparently a PhotoShop uninstall/install 
problem but with apparent tacit assistance from Windows.  It would seem 
that the Windows API that handles this work could implement some sort of 
sanity check on the install/uninstall aftermath and give an error back 
to the app.
