Sorry, I have no idea what I said that would cause you to think I
thought the problem was in PhotoShop. My guess would be as yours that
it's a problem in the OS. Furthermore, even if the direct cause is
interference from some other application it's still the fault of the OS
for allowing such a thing to happen. But, all that said, PhotoShop is
not off the hook.
