I agree, John, but I've just looked at the Wikipedia and found to be rather
confused. For instance, it was to have STOL performance, but with those wings
it would have needed a good 6000ft to get off the ground, especially with a
bomb-load. The F111 was far superior.
OK, it wasn't like the Vulcan (horrid machine) but it wasn't going to work, in
my view.
